通过分析整理马王堆古医书等文献

发现古代有关灸刺部位的名称和含义经历了一个从脉到脉口、脉上的处和所

再到经脉气血显现于体表的穴的过程。这种变化轨迹揭示了穴位与经络和针刺疗法的渊源关系。穴位是点

经络是线

除了少数以显著解剖标志定位的穴位外

绝大多数穴位从一开始就是经络线上特殊的部位

而不是一个个孤立的点。穴是针进出人体的门户

这个概念的提出及数量的增加与针刺疗法的发明和普及推广密切相关。
