从四个方面概述了师怀堂先生的“新九针”学术思想和临床经验:(1)禀承岐黄

研制九针

填补了我国近代针具改革史上的一项空白。(2)辨证施治

活用九针

具体表现在针不同形

作用有别;同病异针

异病同针;虚实寒热

九针调之;多针配合

以求实效;刺法独特

因病而施等方面。(3)治医严谨

德技双馨。(4)著书育人

弘扬九针。
