认为其贡献有三 :1 确立奇经学说

完善经络理论 ;首倡八脉之名

完善八脉循行

详述生理病理。 2 阐释特定穴

理论与实践并重 ;首创八会穴及其主治

完善十二原穴及治疗机理

确立五输穴应用大法。 3 奠定配穴诸法

完善刺灸理论 ;奠定补母泻子法

首创泻南补北法

拓展迎随补泻法

重视营卫四时补泻。
