摘要

Nomenclature of the Shu points has followed along process. The points were nominated one by oneby the antient medical workers after strict deliberation according to the doctrine of channels and colllaterals

Yin-Yang

Five Elements

Zang-Fu

Qi andBlood

and the physiology

pathology and treatingfunctions of the points

and the anatomical locationsof the points. Therefore

the author holds that English translation of the points meaning is of great significance in promoting international academic exchange of acupuneture. The author translated the meanings of all the 361 Shn points of the 14. Channelsin this paper so as to provide a referenc to thelearners.
