探讨老年期痴呆的病机及辨经论治。初步认为毒瘀遏阻脑络为"毒损脑络"证候特征

毒损脑络、督脉瘀滞是老年期痴呆的重要病机

治疗以治络通络为法

以通为补

通调督脉为老年期痴呆辨经论治的重要环节

是"毒损脑络"理论在针灸干预老年期痴呆辨经论治中的具体运用

拓展了络病学说在针灸防治疾病领域中的应用。
