总结张卫华教授应用镇静安神法治疗失眠的临床经验，认为失眠的病机为魂神不安，以调神为基本治疗法则，定元神和安心神为重点；主穴取头部百会、四神聪、印堂3穴以定元神，手腕部神门1穴以安心神，下肢部三阴交、涌泉2穴以益阴平阳，使神守室；施以“分层多向刺”，配合涌泉穴位贴敷，辨证配穴，治疗失眠穴简效宏。
