liangxin

Japanese monk. Due to the high practical value

the book was repeatedly reprinted and was gradually integrated into the local medical system. In the Joseon Dynasty

this book was greatly praised by scholars

and had deeply influenced the development of acupuncture. During the Imjin War (1592-1598)

the book was brought to Japan and published again. By the end of the Qing Dynasty

the Japan's version of this book was introduced by visit scholars and became the mainstream version in China.

Shenying Jing

is circulated in East Asia. The constant emergence of new versions not only demonstrates the profound influence of China's classical medical book on the medicine development in neighboring countries

but also reflects the efforts on the localization of medicine made by Korea and Japan.
