This report describes the treatment of a patient with subacute hand eczema. The patient presented with widespread eczema

especially severe on the palms

with thickened skin and intense pruritus. A combination therapy of fire-needle cluster shallow needling and cupping was administered once every two days

twice per week. After the first treatment

the patient reported significant relief of itching in the affected areas. After 12 treatments

the itching on the hands had resolved

the skin had become smooth

and the widespread eczema had also improved. At 3-month follow-up

the skin had returned to normal

with only temporary pigmentation.
